OH YOU ILLUSTRATE COMMISSION INFO

Yo. It’s ya boi, Oh You - I’m an illustrator and designer based in the UK, and draw mainly Final Fantasy XIV and Dungeons & Dragons stuff. If you’re on this page, I guess you might be interested in commissioning me? Neato.This commission site is for noncommercial, personal use only commissions. Please read through it to understand how commissioning works, and for how to do so. It’s important you understand the terms of service and what I can provide for you, so you as a client can have a smooth and enjoyable experience!

The Commission Process

  1. You will receive a reply confirming the commission slot, requesting references and info for the commission as needed. When that is all sorted, I will invoice you via paypal.

  2. Once the invoice has been paid, a rough sketch will be sent via email to establish pose and composition of the piece.

  3. When the sketch is confirmed OK, I will proceed onto the lineart stage.

  4. Once lineart is complete, I will request your approval to move onto colouring. You will have a couple chances to change things here and there. This will be the last chance to alter anything like posing, anatomy, etc.

  5. Once I move onto colouring the piece, once again I will send you the finished piece and request any feedback. You will have a couple chances for only colour changes at this step.

  6. All communication will be done via email. You can keep track of your commission progress on Trello. You can email me at any time if you have any questions!

Terms of service

All of my commissions are for personal, non-commercial work only. I reserve the right to my commissioned artwork, for things like my portfolio and so on. You will receive a 300-dpi res JPEG and/or PNG file of your finished artwork. You will be paying for and receiving only digital goods. Nothing physical will be shipped to your address.Payment can be done in GBP £ or USD $, and done via Paypal Invoices. No other payment method will be accepted. You will be invoiced once the slot is confirmed. If you haven’t paid within ten days, then I will cancel your commission. No work will progress until the invoice has been paid in full. Tips are always welcome and appreciated.You may use the commissioned artwork for icons, banners, etc. as long as you provide credit to me (please link my tumblr or twitter!). You can also crop/resize the commissioned artwork for these purposes. Please do NOT claim the commissioned artwork as your own, edit it, trace over it, or sell it. And please, please, please do not use commissioned artwork for NFT purposes.Please do NOT post to your social media unless I’ve given you permission to do so, and if I have given you permission, please make sure to give me proper credit with links back to my tumblr or twitter. Usually, I will post the commissioned artwork to my social media, and I will tag you and provide a link via email.On average, commissions should take one to four weeks to complete. However, please allow up to three months for the commission to be completed. I will regularly communicate with you via email with updates. If there is any delay, you will be notified with a time estimate. Please specify if there is a deadline for the commission, and I will do my best to accommodate you.If I have failed to provide any art progress after you’ve paid within three months, you will receive a full refund. These terms of service are subject to change at any time.

  • Mecha - I don’t expect anyone to commission me for this, but just in case...

  • Please note that I can refuse to draw a commission for whatever reason.

Detailed armour/outfits/weaponry, additional characters, backgrounds, OR larger pieces will have an additional charge. Feel free to ask about these in your commission email!MMO or D&D Characters, OCs, Fanart are all a-ok as long as plenty of references
(written or visual) can be provided!
